The ‘MNM’ trio and PSG take on Club Brugge in Champions League opener
Paris Saint-Germain fans could get their first glimpse at the lethal front three of Messi, Neymar, and Mbappé in PSG’s Champions League opener in Belgium.
Club Brugge will be looking for a big start to the Champions League with a win over Group A opponents PSG on Wednesday night at the Jan-Breydel-Stadion in Belgium.
This year, Club Brugge automatically qualified in the group stages when they won their 17th Belgian Pro League title. Before this, however, they failed to make it out of the group stages eight consecutive times. They’re an ambitious team with something to prove, but PSG will be a tough competitor.
Paris Saint-Germain had a few near misses in the last two Champions League competitions, so they’ll be searching for a strong start too. Over the summer, the club made newsworthy transfers and now fans are hoping to see those changes in action. Specifically, the star trio of Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, and Lionel Messi.
“I will have to add myself to the collective enthusiasm of all the people who want to see these three players together,” said PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino. “I can’t go against it. I’d be crazy.”
Possible Club Brugge lineup:

Possible PSG lineup:
