LAVER CUP 2021
Laver Cup 2021 schedule: matches, rounds, dates & times
Excitement increases among tennis fans as the fourth edition of the iconic black court event returns today, with the opening single matches kicking off at 1 p.m.
Team Europe and Team World will battle once more in the fourth Laver Cup edition which will kick off at 1 p.m. E.T. today (Friday) at the TD Garden in Boston.
The event has been dominated by the Europeans since its inauguration in 2017, who hold a 3-0 record against Team World. However, this year, none of the big three will be playing for the European team and this will increase Team World's chances of winning the trophy for the first time this year.
Despite the absences of the GOATs, Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic, there is still plenty of top players from the next generation to watch, such as current US Open champion Daniil Medvedev, which will make this tennis weekend a very exciting and fun three days.
Every win adds up points, increasing from one to three as the days go by. The first team to reach thirteen points is crowned as the Laver Cup winner.
The lineup for each day is released the day before.
