Arsenal not for sale, insists Kroenke

Josh Kroenke, one of Arsenal's owners, insisted that the London club is not for sale and that the project has only just begun. Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Kroenke responded to Spotify owner Daniel Ek's £1.8 billion (€2.1 billion) bid for the Premier League club.

Bids for Arsenal

"We get bids for the club all the time, from many different companies from all over the world. That speaks to the strength of this institution," Kroenke said. "My answer is simple: the club is not for sale. We have only just started," he stated.

Ek's proposal has the backing of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who has watched the teams games alongside the Swedish businessman at the Emirates Stadium.

"We only really own the club since 2018. We now have a young manager, a young squad and we are building the way for the future," Kroenke said.
