Football Manager 2022 for iOS, Android: requirements, compatible devices

Football Manager 2022 Mobile was released on Tuesday 9 November, with a host of new features added to the latest Android and iOS version of Sports Interactive and Sega’s long-running management sim.

Among the changes gamers will find in Football Manager 2022 Mobile are a freshly-designed home screen, the ability to load leagues from up to five nations at once, and enhanced scouting and transfers systems.

"FM22 Mobile adds even greater levels of realism and immersion to the series in the most complete offering in FM Mobile history," the game’s creators say.

Hardware requirements to run FM 2022 Mobile on Android devices

On Android devices, users will need Android OS version 4.4 (Kit Kat) or above, and must have a minimum resolution of 800 x 480. Mobiles and tablets with the Tegra 2 chipset are not compatible.

Sports Interactive and Sega recommend having 800MB of free space on your Android device, and add that you will need another 300MB if you wish to install player pics.

Hardware requirements to run FM 2022 Mobile on iOS devices

On Apple devices, Football Manager 2022 Mobile will only run on iOS 10.0 or later, and mobiles/tablets must have Metal graphical support. The earliest Apple devices compatible with FM 2022 Mobile are the iPhone 5S, iPod Touch sixth generation, iPad Air first generation and iPad Mini second generation.

The game’s developers say iOS users will need up to 1GB of free space to install and run FM 2022 Mobile.
