REAL MADRID
Real Madrid target next Brazilian superstar, Luiz Henrique
Vinicius, Rodrygo, Reinier... It has been a strategy of Los Blancos in recent years to sign young, exciting samba prospects, and another is lined up.
Real Madrid are constantly scouring the transfer market for talent. And this is especially true of their intentions in Brazil, where in recent years it has proved fruitful. Vinicius, Rodrygo, Reinier to varying degrees have and are providing enough signs that they were the right moves to make. Sights now are set on Luiz Henrique, a 20-year-old Fluminense right winger.
Henrique: Madrid’s latest Brazilian gem?
The idea that is in motion would be for the youngster to reinforce Castilla, Madrid’s reserve side, in the second half of the season, coming in when the January transfer window opens. From there, thoughts would turn to a loan spell and then to see how he could fit into the first team. It’s a plan that has worked well in the past but, if unsuccessful, offers other avenues to suit both club and player.

Luiz Henrique is a forward and is used to playing all across the attacking frontline, although his favoured position is on the right wing, where he is adept at cutting in a shooting with his strongest foot, his left. He has shown himself to be a master of the counter attack, with speed, an excellent change of pace and close-control dribbling. His record so far this season has resulted in five goals and four assists with Fluminense, and he is a regular starter despite his age, having featured in 2,658 minutes across 48 matches. Henrique has also been called up on one occasion to Brazil’s U-20 side.
With Raúl’s Castilla having played 11 games, winning only four and losing five, they are in need of reinforcements up front and this could be one valuable place to shine for Henrique.
