Arsenal ready to bid for Tyler Adams
The United Men’s national team captain has become the target of several clubs in Europe ahead of the winter window and he could end up in the Premier League.
Tyler Adams is the ‘motor’ and captain of the United Men’s national team and a great part of the success that they’ve had this summer is thanks to him dominating the midfield. The American has also become a key player for RB Leipzig this season under newly appointed coach Jesse Marsch.
Arsenal keen on signing Adams
The 22-year-old is under contract with the Bundesliga side and he signed an extension not too long ago until 30 June 2025. According to SportBILD, Arsenal are willing to pay the €32.25 million clause to RB Leipzig to sign Adams during the January transfer window.
The Gunners are very keen on signing the American, but last summer they spent roughly €150 million on six players. Arsenal’s boss is trying to rebuild the team and compete for a European spot this season and Adams could be part of the future.
Before the Premier League side make a formal bid for the USMNT captain they need to part ways with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah. If they are able to get money from the pair they will try to sign Adams in January and if not they will make another attempt next summer.
