The Denver Broncos head to Missouri to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in an AFC West matchup that could determine who will be on top of the division standings.
The Chiefs have a 7-4 record, and the Broncos are close behind with 6-5.The NFL decided to flex this matchup into the primetime schedule as it is expected to be more exciting than the game between the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers who were originally set to play in the time slot.

Denver's defense
The Broncos’ defense has leveled up in their past few matches. They exhibited this improvement in their 28-13 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12, limiting them to seven points up until the last few minutes of the game.
Despite an up-and-down performance earlier in the season, they have won three of their last four games. Running backs Javonte Adams and Melvin Gordon III have been carrying the load for the offense.
Chiefs favored to win
Kansas City has been on a four-game winning streak, and is fresh from taking its bye week. Although Patrick Mahomes is on the brink of equaling his career high of 12 interceptions in one season, he has managed to get his numbers down in recent games.
Denver head coach Vic Fangio has a 0-4 record against the Chiefs, while KC head coach Andy Reid is 19-3 in games coming off a bye week.The Broncos have not beaten the Chiefs since 2015, and oddsmakers are saying their losing streak will not end on Sunday.
