Juventus: Weston McKennie recovers in time for Bologna match
The United States men’s international team player missed the last three Serie A matches due to a knee injury but he could make his return this weekend.
Weston McKennie suffered a knee injury on matchday 14 of the Serie A season and had to be taken off in Juventus’ 1-0 defeat against Atalanta BC. The 23-year-old missed the next three league games, but could see some minutes this weekend against Bologna.
Injury report
McKennie and Dejan Kulusevski, who was also injured, returned to training on Wednesday and could be included in the roster that will travel to Bologna. The United States international has played an important role this season under manager Massimiliano Allegri.
McKennie has scored two goals in 11 Serie A appearances so far this campaign, but his future is up in the air because several reports from Italy have indicated the people in charge might cash in on him during the next transfer window.
Juventus continue their rebuilding plan and could get very good money by selling McKennie. Several clubs are interested in signing the midfielder, but Tottenham are the most interested, per reports.
