Something’s got to give in the Week 15 clash between the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, as two teams on winning runs face off at the Raymond James Stadium. The Saints have been victorious in each of their last six regular-season games, while Tom Brady’s Bucs have a 100% record at home this season.

The Saints won’t have Sean Payton on the sidelines in Tampa after the head coach was diagnosed with covid-19 for a second time. Offensive coordinator Dennis Allen will take charge of the team in Payton’s absence.

Here are the five players to watch in the game between the Saints and the Buccaneers:

Tom Brady, QB, Buccaneers

In three home games this season, Brady has thrown 1,947 yards for 22 touchdowns and three interceptions. However, he has seven interceptions in his last three regular-season matches against the Saints, and in the teams’ most recent meeting, in Week 8, he was pick-sixed by cornerback P.J. Williams for a game-sealing touchdown.

Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints

Kamara is hugely important to the Saints’ offence. During his absence through injury, New Orleans lost all four fixtures they played, registering 18.3 points and 98 yards per game. With the versatile running back out on the field, Payton’s men manage 7.2 points and 33.6 yards more.

Devin White, LB, Buccaneers

If the Buccaneers want to stop Kamara, they’ll need Devin White to be on his game. White is the Bucs’ defensive leader with 110 tackles, 16 quarterback hits, five tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three passes defended and one fumble recovered.

Taysom Hill, QB, Saints

The Saints’ starting quarterback in Week 13, Hill has shown outstanding versatility in a range of skill positions. Before becoming QB1 for New Orleans, the utility registered four completed passes for 100 yards, 14 rushing attempts for 77 yards and three receptions for 37 yards in seven games against Tampa Bay. Now, he'll be playing most of the snaps from behind the center.

Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers

Mike Evans is Brady’s favourite wide receiver when it comes to scoring touchdowns, but he’ll be marked by Marshon Lattimore and Godwin could enjoy greater offensive freedom than Evans. The 25-year-old leads the Bucs in receptions, with 92, and in yards, with 1,054.
