USMNT: Cameron Carter-Vickers wins the Scottish League Cup
The United States men’s national team player went the full 90 minutes in Celtic’s 2-1 win against Hibernian to win the Scottish League Cup.
Celtic FC won the Scottish League Cup after defeating Hibernian 2-1 in the final at Hampden Park. A player that was part of the celebrations was United States international Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Carter-Vickers aiming for Qatar
The 23-year-old helped Celtic win their 20th League Cup trophy and so far this season he has made 22 appearances across all competitions. Carter-Vickers has established himself as a key player in Celtic's defense for manager Ange Postecoglou.
Carter-Vickers is a centre-back for the United States men’s national team and has been capped eight times. He joined Celtic on a one-year loan from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer in search of regular playing time. Carter-Vickers has only missed one league game so far this season and he has started in 13 out of 14 league games for Celtic.
