Golden Globe Awards 2022: Who are the nominees? Full list
The likes of The Morning Show, Dune, Succession and The Power of the Dog feature heavily in shortlists for the 79th Golden Globes in Los Angeles.
Every year the Golden Globes honours the best in television and cinema from the previous 12 months but the 2022 edition will be held in very unusual, and fairly underwhelming conditions.
The annual awards ceremony held by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) on Sunday, 9 January at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles. However due to the ongoing surge in covid-19 cases organisers decided that there will be no live audience and no red carpet for the stars to strut.
News of this departure from the norm followed the decision from usual broadcaster NBC to not show this year’s Golden Globe Awards, due to controversy surrounding the HFPA’s lack of diversity and rumours of financial benefits afforded to some members. The likes of Netflix and Warner Media announced that they would not participate in any Golden Globes-related events until the issues had been address.
However the winners of the 79th Golden Globe Awards will be unveiled on Sunday evening; here’s a full list of all the nominees…
