2022 Golden Globe Awards winners: full list
After the private affair, did The Morning Show, Dune, Succession and The Power of the Dog live up to expectations at the 79th Golden Globes in Los Angeles?
So, it's over! We now know who won each of this year's Golden Globes but it's possible that it passed you by as the 2022 edition of the awards for the best in television and cinema from the previous 12 months was held in a much more understated manner.
Golden Globes 2022: the winners
Sunday evening saw the the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles host the annual awards ceremony held by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). Due to the ongoing surge in covid-19 cases, however, organisers decided not to have a live audience and that there would be no red carpet strutting.
Longtime broadcaster NBC opted not to televise this year's show after complaints about a lack of diversity and questionable ethics policies by the HFPA, the group that chooses the winners. who said that it has taken steps to address concerns. The likes of Netflix and Warner Media announced that they would not participate in any Golden Globes-related events until the issues had been address.
