Tom Brady has taken on instagram to share an emotional message about his retirement after his season abruptly ended on Sunday when the Bucs lost to the Rams
Star quarterback Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took the field against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, with hopes of going after another back-to-back Super Bowl appearance. Instead, in the final minutes of the games, the Rams scored a field goal that ended in a 30-27 victory over the Bucs.
Brady, who has stirred a lot of conversations around his retirement in the past year, chose to address his gratitude for “everyone who was a part” of his year’s journey, and push off questions about his future.
Tom Brady will "figure things out with family"
The seven-time Super Bowl winner added to the speculation about whether he’ll continue playing until 45 years old or end his 22-season legendary career when he gave Jim Gray a noncommittal answer on his “Let’s Go!” podcast on Monday.

TB12 revealed that he is going to figure things out with his family. "I said this a few years ago, it's what relationships are all about. It's not always what I want. It's what we want as a family, and I'm gonna spend a lot of time with them and figure out, in the future, what's next," said Brady.
Besides prioritizing his family in their next decision about his career, the 44-year-old also noted his appreciation to his team “that believes in each other.”
