Colombia vs Peru: times, TV and how to watch online
The South American qualifiers are back this week. Colombia will face Peru in Barranquilla in what promises to be an electrifying game.
Head coach Reinaldo Rueda, who took over for Colombia after a disastrous start with Carlos Queiros, has come under fire due to a run of bad results. The team has not won a game in their last five matches, with four draws and one loss against Brazil. Therefore, Colombia needs to win this game. They sit in four place ahead of Uruguay, which is only one point behind.
For Peru, things are even gloomier, tho the team seems to be in better form. Gareca's guys will be looking to at least tie this game and keep fighting for that spot. After a good series of results in some friendly matches this week, the team comes in good spirit. However, a loss for the Incas could mean almost sure elimination from Qatar.
Colombia has the edge
Both teams have played a combined 68th matches, the Cafeteros have won 27th while Peru has come the victor in 19th, with 22 draws altogether. The last time they faced each other, Colombia beat Peru 3-2.
