Senior Bowl 2022: when is it and where it is played?
The yearly game is almost upon us once again, and is a chance for us to watch the young college stars readying themselves for the NFL big time.
Reese’s Senior Bowl 2022 is all set for Saturday 5 February. The game may a fundraiser for the non-profit organisation Mobile Arts & Sports Association, but it serves as an opportunity for NFL teams to get a look at the latest crop of college football talent. After all, former MVPs of the game include the likes of Dan Marino, LaDainian Tomlinson, Dak Prescott and Justin Herbert.
Senior Bowl: what you need to know
The Senior Bowl began way back in 1950 and is generally regarded as the most prominent college football all-star game in the US. Then it was two squads of the hottest NFL draft prospects and for the inaugural year it was held in Florida, before moving home to Alabama.

With the 2022 draft exactly three months away at the time of writing, the biggest stars of college football are looking to make a name for themselves in this high-profile game. The action takes place in the University of South Alabama’s Hancock Whitney Stadium, in the town of Mobile, Alabama. Tickets are still available.
