The former MK Dons man joins The Toffees for an undisclosed fee, rumoured to be around £40 million.

Guillem Balague, of Diario AS fame, reports that Barcelona have beaten the transfer window by convincing Arsenal to release Auba. As a free agent, the transfer is not bound by the window and they can take time to sort the paperwork.

The Gabon forward is now said to be undergoing a medical at Barcelona, with Joan Laporta telling the media he is hopeful of a deal being pushed through for the former Arsenal captain before the deadline.

The Tottenham clear-out is in full swing now as Antonio Conte wields the axe. Spain international Bryan Gil is the latest out of the door, joining Valencia on loan six months after moving to London from Sevilla, although he was on loan at Eibar in 2020-21.

According to Barcelona-based journalist Helena Condis Edo, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's representatives are still in the offices of Barça sporting honcho Mateu Alemany trying to hammer out a deal for the wantaway Arsenal forward.
Chelsea to nip in for Dembélé?
Ousmane Dembélé has been linked with numerous clubs recently, among them PSG and Manchester United, but it seems Thomas Tuchel has snuck in to offer the France winger an opportunity away from Camp Nou, where he is not part of Xavi's plans.

Done deal | Bournemouth snap up Nat Phillips
Bournemouth have agreed a deal to take Nat Phillips on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the season. The 24-year-old central defender managed just three appearances under Jürgen Klopp in the first half of the 2021-22 campaign.

The 22-year-old forward, who has already collected five senior international caps with Argentina, has agreed a five-and-a-half-year deal. Director of Football Txiki Begiristain believes City have signed a player with significant potential.
“Julian is a player we have monitored for some time,” Begiristain said. “He is capable of operating in a number of attacking roles, and we firmly believe he's one of the best young attacking players in South America.
“I am so happy we have managed to bring him to Manchester City. I really believe we can provide him with the right conditions to fulfil his potential and become a top player.”
