Entrepreneur Elon Musk has become one of the most talked-about people in recent years after becoming one of the world’s richest men thanks to the success of his car brand, Tesla, and his latest extravagant project, SpaceX, with which he plans a trip into space to compete with Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. In addition to the career aspects of his life, millions of followers are keen to know about the more personal side, and a new development in that arena has now caught the public’s attention.

Who is Elon Musk's new partner?

The American billionaire has been snapped while leaving his private plane with a renowned Australian actress, images circulating on social media within minutes, after initially being published by HollywoodLife. Unlike with many other celebrity spottings, though, the identity of his new 'girlfriend' is not a mystery, the immediately recognisable Natasha Bassett, currently immersed in the Elvis Presley film where she will star alongside Tom Hanks, making the headlines. The pair were spotted after landing in Los Angeles.

But some Musk fans, and critics alike, were not expecting news of this nature given that less than a couple of years ago he had welcomed his first child with the singer Grimes, although he did separate from her last September.

Did you know? The reasons why Bill Gates and Elon Musk are not exactly friends

Los Angeles is where his ex-partner and son currently live, so many have assumed that was the reason for their arrival there. Actress Natasha Bassett, who at 27 is 23 years younger than Musk, is one of Australia’s most famous actresses gaining attention internationally after she played Britney Spears in the autobiographical film, released in 2017. She has also appeared in a selection of other films including Caesar, alongside George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson. The aforementioned film about the successful American singer is set to be released next summer.
