Mbappé not interested in new PSG deal, agreement with Real Madrid
The PSG forward has a verbal agreement in place with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez. Despite the French club's offers, his decision is still to not sign a new deal.
Kylian Mbappé wants to finish the season with PSG in the best possible way before leaving the club despite their best efforts to tie him down to a new deal. Mbappé made it clear last August that he wanted to leave and the new contract renewal offers from PSG have not changed his mind since then.
The France international is only concerend with this season and wants to win the Champions League. The outcome of the last 16 matches against Real Madrid will not influence his decision, as the player himself confirmed when speaking to Movistar+ after the first leg in Paris. Mbappé was the star of the show that night, scoring a late winner past Thibaut Courtois. If PSG advance to the quarter-finals, knocking out Madrid on the way, it will not mean that Mbappé will sign a new deal with PSG.
PSG optimistic
Current Ligue 1 leaders, PSG, remain optimistic about Mbappé's future. In Paris, they believe that the Champions League tie could change his mind and eventually lead him to renewing his contract. Negotiations are ongoing with his entourage, but it is up to Mbappé. He is the one who has not accepted any of the latest offers from the club, and he is the one who will confirm his final decision at the end of the 2021/22 season, when he is expected to say that he wants to take a new step in his career and join Real Madrid.

Mbappé has a verbal agreement in place with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez. As reported by Pablo Gallego of French media outlet Le Journal du Real and later confirmed by AS, he has told the Madrid president he wants to sign for Los Blancos this summer.
For the time being, he is not giving any clues away about his future away as he wants to show his professionalism and respect to PSG. Next up for Mauricio Pochettino's side is the last 16 Champions League second leg tie with Madrid and all eyes will be on Mbappé. He could even knock his future team out of the competition in their own backyard.
