Magomed Ankalaev is on a seven-fight winning streak and will aim to keep it going when he goes up against Brazilian Thiago Santos on UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Ankalaev made his debut with the Ultimate Fighting Championship promotion company in 2018, and has made decent money from fighting since then. The Russian is currently ranked sixth in the UFC light heavyweight division, with an impressive 16-1-0 record.

Ankalaev's KO punch fattens the purse

Ankalaev’s first UFC fight was held in March 2018 against Paul Craig, which he lost via submission. His paycheck for the night was $13,500.

This amount went up later that year, when his knockout victory over against Marcin Prachnio in September 2018 was named Performance of the Night, an award which gives a bonus of $50,000. His pay for that evening jumped to $73,500.
