Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving to release Nike Dunk Low shoe
Nets star Kyrie Irving still cannot play in Brooklyn due to being unvaccinated against Covid-19, but has impressed during road games for the team.
Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant admitted that teammate Kyrie Irving is "frustrated" at still not being allowed to play home games for the team.
New York City mayor Eric Adams recently removed restrictions requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination to enter establishments including bars, restaurants and sports arenas, but the mandate for private sector employees remains in place which means that the unvaccinated player is only able to attend home games as a spectator.
Kyrie x Nike Dunks
Irving has been a long-time Nike athlete with the sportswear giant releasing a series of basketball shoes and apparel with the 'Kyrie 8 'Fire and Ice' shoe the latest issue, dropping in February of this year.
Sneaker specialty pages and forums are abuzz after an online leak of what appears to be the first Kyrie Irving x Nike Low Dunk. At present there is no release date earmarked for the sky blue and white with salmon sole Dunk after sneaker preview specialist @Woganwodeyang posted the shoe on Instagram.
