Keylor Navas among the highest-paid players in Ligue 1

It is incredible that the Paris Saint-Germain players occupy 18 out of the 20 highest earners in Ligue 1, according to the latest figures released by L’Équipe. No other player earns more than Neymar in France’s top tier, with a monthly wage of £3.4 million and this could anger PSG’s fans even more due to his poor performances with the club lately.

It is even rumored that the people in charge at PSG are fed up of the Brazil international and they are willing to let him go in the summer. Another player from Paris Saint-Germain that has his future up in the air is Lionel Messi and the Argentine international pockets £2.8 million a month. In third place is Kylian Mbappé, the only player that has earned the respect of the fans, with a monthly wage of £1.85 million, but it seems like he is on his way out.

Keylor Navas earns more than Donnarumma

There has been an ongoing and healthy battle between Keylor Navas and Gianluigi Donnarumma to become the starting goalkeeper for PSG. The Costa Rica international has played more games across all competitions, but the Italian started in more key fixtures, including in the defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

One thing is for sure, Keylor Navas is among the best players at Paris Saint-Germain and in Ligue 1. The Costa Rica international is in seventh place, earning more than Donnarumma, who ranks ninth on the list of highest-paid players in France’s top tier, with a monthly wage of £834,000.
