Teams to watch in the World Cup

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year. Here are the top countries to watch when the World Cup begins.

Update:

The World Cup 2022 will take place in Qatar from November 21 until December 18 when 32 teams from 32 countries will compete in eight groups. The final draw takes place Friday, April 1 and will determine which of the qualified teams will face each other. We will know the final three places in the intercontinental playoffs, which happen in June. The European playoff final was also postponed due to the war in Ukraine.

France

Beware the wounded world champions after their shock elimination to Switzerland in the last 16 of Euro 2020.

Brazil

The five-time winners put their Copa America heartache behind them by going 17 unbeaten in World Cup qualifying.

The three Lions will be among the favorites to after falling short in the Euro 2020 final against Italy.
