Luka praises Giannis, credits defense in win over Bucks

In a game in which Luka Doncic put up 32 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 28, the Dallas Mavericks star credited the defense for being able to stop Giannis enough to get the win.

In a video which went viral, Doncic is seen shooting and making a three-pointer right over the Milwaukee Buck's star's head, then making a face as if to say, "easy peasy".

The Mavericks defeated the Bucks 118-112, Doncic leading the pack. "It's always really difficult to stop Giannis; it's almost impossible," said Doncic.

Giannis, who put up 28 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists for the Bucks last night, also praised Luka in his postgame interview.

"We did a solid job, he's just very very talented, he's a very good player," said Giannis. "He's gonna make the right pass, he's gonna make the pass to the roller, the pass to the corner."

It's clear the two European players both have a lot of respect for each other. Both are now contenders for MVP in the NBA, leading their respective teams to victory after victory.
