Billboard’s 2023 Women in Music Awards honors the best musical talent with a star-studded show on Wednesday. Familiar and new artists took to the stage to accept their awards, from Rosalía receiving Producer of the Year, to rapper Doechii winning Rising Star of the Year.

A number of fan favorites were in attendance at the show, including model Heidi Klum, Chloe Bailey, and Olivia Rodrigo among others. Here’s a look at some of the winners and performers at the show.

A night for women

‘Unholy’ singer Kim Petras accepted the Chartbreaker Award, right after performing her latest single ‘Brrr’. Petras is the first transgender woman to receive an award at the show.

“Growing up I would question what rooms I would be put into and what boxes I would be put into — and I’m grateful it’s this one,” the artist said on stage.

Rosalía then took to the stage to receive her Producer of the Year award.

“I’d love to dedicate this award to all the women that are gonna be producers because I’m definitely not the first one”, she began.

“And I’m definitely, definitely not going to be the last one. Thank you so much. Lana Del Rey, te quiero,” she added, shouting out her love of Lana Del Rey.

Bad Bunny presented the Icon Award

Puerto Rican reggaetonera Ivy Queen received the Icon Award, which was presented to her in a heartfelt speech by Bad Bunny.

“When people ask me which artists inspired me, I don’t know what to say. I’m a big fan of music and reggaeton and there are a lot of artists that have inspired me. [My musical influences have become a part of my musical DNA] and without a doubt, one of the ones who inspired me to work twice as hard was Ivy Queen,” the rapper said.

“I think we’re at the moment when the most amazing women exist in reggaeton and I don’t want to speak for them, but I think their success is the result of Ivy Queen’s influence.

Upon accepting her award, Ivy Queen said that throughout her career she has had to prove herself among her male peers.

Lainey Wilson won Rulebreaker Award thanking “all the women who do things their way, the ones who are not afraid to go against the grain and paint outside the lines. The ones who take a ‘no’ on the nose and somehow turn it into a ‘yes’.”

SZA graciously took time out of her touring schedule to receive her Woman of the Year Award.

Throughout the night, the artists regularly name-dropped Lana Del Rey, who received the Visionary Award.
