Are Rauw Alejandro and Camila Cabello dating? This is what we know
Rauw, who recently broke up with Spanish pop star Rosalía, is now reported to be seeing Cuban-American singer Cabello.
This week, People magazine revealed that the Spanish singer Rosalía and the Puerto Rican musician Rauw Alejandro had decided to end their relationship. The couple had been together for more than three years.
Rauw denies cheating on Rosalía
After reports emerged of their break-up, rumours began to spread that Rauw, whose full name is Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz, had been unfaithful to Rosalía. In response, he took to social media to confirm that the pair’s relationship was over, and to deny claims that he had played away.
“Yes, a few months ago Rosi and I ended our relationship,” Rauw wrote on Instagram. “There are thousands of problems that can cause a break-up, but in our case it wasn’t because of third parties or infidelity.”
A day later, Rosalía - full name Rosalia Vila Tobella - also addressed the situation on Instagram. “I really love, respect and admire Raúl,” the two-time Grammy winner said. “Don’t pay any attention to all the speculation, we know the truth about what we experienced. This isn’t an easy time, so I’m grateful to everyone for their respect and understanding.”
Rauw reportedly moves on to Cabello
In the wake of the news that Rauw and Rosalía have called it quits, rumours have now begun to circulate that he has embarked on a romance with the Cuban-born American pop star Camila Cabello.
Speaking on the Univisión show ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’, the TV host Raúl de Molina said: “I’ve been told on very good authority, really good authority, that he has been going out with Camila Cabello.”
De Molina added: “I have it on really good authority - otherwise, I wouldn’t say so on the air. It’s said that he began seeing her after falling out with Rosalía.”
Recently, Rauw and Cabello were both in Puerto Rico. While he travelled to the island to spend time with his family, she attended the Premios Juventud awards ceremony in San Juan, the Puerto Rican capital.
On Tuesday, meanwhile, the pair were both at Fort Lauderdale’s DRV PNK Stadium for Inter Miami’s 2023 Leagues Cup soccer clash with Atlanta United.
