The 2023 Latin American Music Awards have confirmed additional performers to perform at the awards show on Thursday, April 20, in recent Instagram posts.

Joining the already confirmed performances by first-time host Natti Natasha, Anuel AA, Guaynaa and Lele Pons, Myke Towers, and Prince Royce are Becky G and Peso Pluma, Ruben Blades, and Ángela Aguilar.

An overview of performers

Anuel AA is set to perform his song ‘Más Rica Que Ayer’, released last month. Guaynaa and Lele Pons, who just celebrated their wedding in March, will also be performing a series of hit songs from their collection, including their collab song ‘Abajito’.

Myke Towers will perform his latest track ‘Mi Droga’ released three weeks ago, and Prince Royce will unveil a new track live at the awards show.

Spanish artist Bad Gyal will be making her debut at the show with her song ‘Chulo’ and Edén Muñoz will debut with the track ‘Chale’.

Natti Natasha, who is hosting the event, will also be performing her new single, ‘Algarete’.

Joining these artists are Becky G and Peso Plumo, performing their song ‘Chanel’ set in the regional Mexican style. Becky G will also be making her presenting debut at the awards show.

Rubén Blades will pay homage to Mexican regional music legend Pepe Aguilar, covering his song ‘Por Mujeres Como Tú’. Aguilar’s daughter, Ángela Aguilar, will also perform.

A number of special awards will be presented

Spanish singer David Bisbal and Dominican-American singer Prince Royce will be receiving Pioneer Awards on Thursday in recognition of their successful careers.

Meanwhile, Carlos Vives and Pepe Aguilar will be given Legacy awards, honoring their influence in Latin American music.

The 2023 Latin American Music Awards will air on Thursday, April 20, for the first time ever on three major Hispanic channels: Univsion, UniMás, and Galavision at 7 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. CST.
