President Donald Trump has begun his second term in a burst of action, signing countless domestic executive orders and diving head-first into a pile of foreign policy controversies.

Trump remains the same person that won election in 2016 but the reaction of Hollywood to his return to the White House is markedly different to the first time around.The Motion Picture Association - which represents the five major American studios along with Netflix, MGM - has released a statement insisting that it will “look forward to working with” the Trump administration this time around.

Public A-list opposition to Trump is now harder to find with publicists reportedly advising clients not to comment on the new administration. In the past Donald Trump was a mainstay of the entertainment and it looks like he could be making a return to the world of Hollywood.

We’re not expecting Trump to make a return to the Academy Awards for the 97th edition of the ceremony on Sunday, March 2. But the absence of the more full-throated condemnations of Trump appear to suggest that the atmosphere in Hollywood is shifting on Donald Trump.
