Brittany Snow files for divorce from Tyler Stanaland

Brittany Snow has officially filed for divorce from Tyler Stanaland, months after the duo announced they were separating.

The couple got engaged in 2019 before tying the knot in Malibu in March 2020, but they announced they had separated back in September after two years of marriage.

According to court documents filed in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles County, Snow cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. She also noted that she and Stanaland have a prenuptial agreement according to documents seen by TMZ, which will determine how they split their assets and any spousal support.

Snow has also asked that the couple split attorney fees.

The ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress announced her separation from Stanaland back in September via Instagram, posting a black and white picture of the couple.

“After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” Snow wrote.

“This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.

“We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie.

“We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”

Snow and Stanaland’s marriage troubles

Stanaland stars on the Netflix show ‘Selling the OC’, but PEOPLE reports his work on the show resulted in marriage troubles between the couple.

Agent Kayla Cardona admitted to trying to kiss him off-camera, while fellow cast members Alex Hall and Polly Brindle regularly flirted with him while filming.

When the couple announced their separation, Stanaland was spotted having dinner with Hall at SOTA Sushi in Corona Del Mar with other friends, including Brindle, according to TMZ.
