The announcement began with President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, followed by Taylor Swift, who revealed that Alex Morgan would be competing in her fourth World Cup.
In the video, Swift expressed her admiration for Morgan, considering her both a friend and a huge fan. Morgan admitted she was surprised by Swift’s shoutout but thrilled.
