Another batch of celebrities are poised to show off their moves on Dancing with the Stars, as the popular reality TV show returns for a 33rd season.

Beginning this midweek, 13 new famous names will pair up with professional dancers - and will bid to succeed actor Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy as champions.

In season 32, Gomez and Chmerkovskiy won the dance contest ahead of musician Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach, with Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix finishing third alongside Pasha Pashkov.

When is the premiere of Dancing with the Stars season 33?

Episode one of Dancing with the Stars season 33 will go out on Tuesday September 17, 2024, at 8pm ET/5pm PT. The show will again be hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough.

How can I watch Dancing with the Stars season 33?

If you’re in the US, you can watch Dancing with the Stars live on ABC and Disney+. Each episode will be available to Hulu subscribers the morning after it airs.

If you don’t have cable, you can watch ABC on the streaming platform fubo, which offers new users a free introductory trial.

How much does Disney+ cost?

The ad-free plan Disney+ Premium currently costs $13.99 a month/$139.99 a year, but these prices are due to rise to $15.99/$159.99 from October 17. Likewise, the with-ads Disney+ Basic plan is presently set at $7.99 a month, but will go up to $9.99 on October 17.

Disney+ is additionally available in a range of bundles that also include a combination of Hulu, ESPN+ and Max. The cheapest of these packages, which features Disney+ Basic and Hulu (also with ads), costs $9.99 a month until October 17, when it will increase to $10.99 a month.

How much does Hulu cost?

You can get an ad-free subscription to Hulu for $17.99 a month, or a basic plan with ads for $7.99 a month/$79.99 a year. As with Disney+, however, these prices are to rise on October 17 - to $9.99 and $99.99, respectively. There is a student subscription (with ads) for the reduced cost of $1.99 a month.

As noted above, you can also get Hulu as part of a bundle with Disney+/ESPN+/Max, while another option is one of Hulu’s ‘+ Live TV’ plans, which start at $76.99 a month (rising to $82.99 on October 17).
