Doja Cat officially confirms the title of her new album
After speculation on the title and genre of her new album, Doja Cat has confirmed the album title.

Doja Cat has finally confirmed the title of her impending fourth album, set to be released sometime this year.
After it was first believed that the album would be called ‘Hellmouth’, the ‘Kiss Me More’ singer has now confirmed that her new album is, in fact, to be titled ‘First of All’.
The new album will mark a drastic sonic change in Doja’s discography, straying away from her previous pop-inspired sound, honing in on her rap influences, and showcasing her rap skills.
“its not called hEllMoUth either its called ‘First of All’ and yes I’m announcing the album title right now,” she tweeted on Tuesday.

Dropping her pop sound
Doja has released a number of hit pop songs, including ‘Kiss Me More’ with SZA, ‘You Right’ with The Weeknd, ‘Say So’, ‘Need to Know’, and ‘Streets’.
These hits have earned her a number of accolades, including a Grammy Award win, and multiple Billboard Music and MTV Music Awards.
But Doja is set on moving away from her old sound and exploring new territory.
“planet her and hot pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it. now i can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while yall weep for mediocre pop,” she said of her old work.
She has also asserted that “Pop isn’t exciting to me anymore. I don’t wanna make it.”

On her new rap-focused sound, Doja has said the decision came about in an effort to prove naysayers wrong about her rap ability
“I’ve rapped since the beginning, and I really couldn’t even sing that well to begin with—I got a lot better,” Doja told Elle back in 2022.
“I use my voice as a tool to create these worlds, and it’s fine if people think that I can’t rap.”
i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are. I wasnt trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I'm getting tired of hearing yall say that i can't so I will.
