Although in previous years some changes were introduced to shorten the length of the gala, in 2025, just like in 2024, the awards for all 23 categories will be presented live. The event will be hosted by Conan O’Brien, while each category will be presented by two internationally recognized personalities.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. local time. Before the awards ceremony, we will see Hollywood stars walk down the iconic red carpet, one of the main attractions for fans worldwide. After this tradition, guests will head to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to enjoy the awards ceremony.
This year, the ceremony will also continue to be broadcast in sign language.

How long do the Oscars last?
The usual duration of the ceremony is approximately three and a half hours, from the moment the host, in this case, Conan O’Brien, kicks off the night with his opening jokes, to the presentation of the Oscar for Best Picture, which is typically the last award announced.
This year, there is no clear frontrunner, as the spotlight is evenly distributed among several films such as Anora, Conclave, and The Substance. Additionally, a large number of actors and actresses are in the running for the highly coveted award.
