Independent film Anora walked away the big winner of the 97th Academy Awards with five Oscars. Here’s who else got a golden statuette.

The 97th Academy Awards on Sunday saw Anora walk away the big winner of the night with 5 Oscars including Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film Editing. The movie also provided host Conan O’Brien with an opportunity to take a jab at President Trump.
Emilia Pérez, which led the nominees at today’s 2025 Oscars, having accrued 13 nods, ended up taking home only two, Zoe Saldaña got Best Supporting Actress and El Mal won Best Original Song. The Brutalist, Wicked and Dune: Part Two also walked away with two Oscars each.
