Bad Bunny’s career has been relatively short, with his rise to fame coming meteorically. He has grown to become one of the highest-paid artists in the world.

Recently, it was revealed that the singer, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasi, signed a lease for a penthouse in a luxury building in West Chelsea, apparently the most expensive apartment in New York City.

According to the New York Post, the place is on the market for $18.5 million, but Bad Bunny is renting it for $150,000 a month. New York Magazine reports that this could be the most expensive apartment in the city.

Several brokers told the media outlet that, as far as they knew, it was the most expensive rental when the singer signed up for the apartment last week. Experts also noted that the rapper is paying the indicated rent.

How much money does Bad Bunny have? Here’s Bad Bunny’s net worth...

At only 29 years old, Bad Bunny has managed to accumulate a considerable fortune. According to Celebrity Net Worth, a portal that estimates the wealth of celebrities, the singer’s net worth is estimated at $40 million.

This amount is what Bad Bunny has after taxes and expenses, which logically means that he has earned much more than this. In 2022, he earned $88 million.

According to Forbes, most of this came from his tours, as well as sponsorship deals with Corona, Cheetos and Adidas.

This figure represents 2022 pre-tax profits, less representation fees (managers, lawyers, agents) and/or business operating costs, based on data from Nielsen BookScan, Luminate, Pollstar, IMDBPro and Variety Insight, as well as interviews with agents, lawyers, managers, executives and industry experts.

As for real estate, in January 2023, Bad Bunny paid $8.8 million for a mansion in Hollywood Hills. The 7,300-square-foot mansion has 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Bad Bunny is also on the list of top tours that have grossed the most in history. Concerts during this time, plus isolated local shows in Puerto Rico, grossed a combined $373.5 million, the third-highest year-end total in Boxscore history after Ed Sheeran’s $429.5 million in 2018 and The Rolling Stones’ $425 million in 2006.
