Karol G has just announced her first-ever U.S. stadium tour, the ‘Mañana Será Bonito Tour’, which will find the artist visiting six different stadiums across the U.S. beginning in August.

The tour is in support of her 2023 album, ‘Mañana Será Bonito’, which also recently became the first female-fronted Spanish language album to top the Billboard chart.

Beginning on August 11 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the tour will stop in stadiums in the cities of Pasadena, Miami, Houston, and Dallas, before a last show on September 7 at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Making history

Karol G joins the club of Latin artists who have gone on stadium tours in the U.S. Los Bukis, Grupo Firme, Romeo Santos, and Bad Bunny all saw successful stadium tours in the U.S.

Bad Bunny completed his first stadium tour, the ‘World’s Hottest Tour’ in 2022, grossing $435 million and breaking the all-time touring revenue record in a single calendar year.

And Karol G is no stranger to breaking records either. Her 2022 arena ‘$trip Love Tour’ became the highest-grossing U.S. tour by a Latina, earning roughly $69.9 million from 33 shows.

The tour took the top spot from both Jennifer Lopez’s ‘It’s My Party World Tour’ in 2019, which grossed $50 million, and Shakira’s ‘El Dorado Tour’ in 2018, which earned $28.2 million.

And this is a sign of Karol G’s growing stardom. In the last few years, the artist has been receiving accolade upon accolade. In 2022, the ‘Bichota’ singer was honored with the Rule Breaker Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.

She also received five nominations at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, winning the Top Latin Album for ‘KG0516′. That same year, she received her first Grammy nomination, also for ‘KG0516′.

This year, she will become the first Latina to headline Lollapalooza, which will take place from August 3 to 6 in Chicago.
