Kim Kardashian reveals details of ex-husband Kanye West’s new, “simpler” lifestyle
On ‘The Kardashians’, the socialite explained that her children prefer spending time at the rapper’s apartment rather than her lavish mansion.
Despite his net worth being estimated at around at half a billion dollars, Kanye West favours a simple lifestyle these days, as revealed by ex-wife Kim Kardashian on a new episode of The Kardashians.
According to the socialite, the “No More Parties in LA” singer has said goodbye to the luxury amenities that epitomised their life together and is now living in a more “humble” apartment with new wife, Bianca Censori.
Kanye a new man after Kardashian divorce
Since Kanye - whose legal name is now Ye - divorced Kim and opted to move out of the public eye, his lifestyle has changed radically, as he no longer employs a security team and does the housework himself.
Kardashian explained to sister Kourtney that daughter North, who she shares with Kanye, had told her “he doesn’t have a nanny. He doesn’t have a chef. He doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.”
North West and siblings prefer West’s apartment to $60 million mansion
Kim also claimed North prefers to make food with her father rather than have it cooked by a chef, with ramen seemingly a particular favourite. “It’s just boiling water and pouring noodles,” came Kourtney’s rather sarcastic response.
Not only that, but the couple’s four children, especially eldest North, prefer spending time at Kayne’s apartment rather than at Kardashian’s $60 million mansion. “North will start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment.’”
The house “isn’t super-big, the vibe’s better”
Kourtney, it seems, can relate, as she is currently going through something similar with former partner Scott Disick, with whom she has three kids of her own.
“They’ll do that at Scott’s too, like, ‘Dad has the best house. Your house sucks. He has the best house, it’s not super-big, the vibe’s better.’ I feel like everything falls on the parent that’s like more involved,” said the elder Kardashian, who is now pregnant by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
The Kardashians’ next generation
Kim and Kayne’s four children are North (10), Saint (7), Chicago (5) and Psalm (4), while Kourtney and Disick share Mason (13), Penelope (11) and Reign (8).
