Oscars 2023 red carpet fashion: The best celebrity looks
The stars are out for the 95th Academy Awards, which takes place at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday night.

It’s red carpet season and tonight is arguably the biggest night in the film industry. Celebrities walking the Oscars red carpet are known for their showstopping looks that are sometimes remembered for years to come.
However, something is a little different at this year’s Oscars, as the red carpet isn’t red at all. For the first time since 1961, the carpet outside of the Oscars will be champagne colored.
Oscars creative consultants Lisa Love and Raúl Àvila chose the dramatic color change to make the transition from daytime carpet arrivals to evening events more seamless. Another new addition to the carpet experience is a tent, installed this year to help shift stars from the daytime weather and heat and create more of an evening ambiance.
While the red hue has lined the floor for Oscar stars for decades, let’s take a look at the glamorous red carpet looks so far and how they are shaping up against this dramatic color change.
