Paula Badosa’s ex takes dig at the Spanish tennis player: All we know about Juan Betancourt
Two days After Paula Badosa and Tsitsipas make their relationship official, ex-Boyfriend Juan Betancourt seems to send a message with a possible dig at the Tennis Couple
Spanish tennis sensation Paula Badosa and Greek ATP star Stefanos Tsitsipas sent shockwaves through the tennis world when they went public with their relationship, becoming the sport’s newest power couple. Speculation about their budding romance had been swirling ever since they were spotted sharing a joint Spotify playlist and when Badosa was seen supporting Tsitsipas at his French Open quarterfinal match against Carlos Alcaraz. But all doubts were put to rest when the couple started sharing intimate pictures and videos from their recent trip to Dubai.

However, not everyone seems thrilled about their newfound love. Badosa’s ex-boyfriend, Juan Betancourt, who is a renowned model and actor, appears to be throwing shade at the couple’s relationship status.
In a recent Instagram post, Betancourt shared a photo of his sculpted physique by the poolside with a Spanish caption that roughly translates to, “What you want to know, I live it, I don’t publish it ☺️.”
It seems like he may be taking a subtle jab at the couple.
Betancourt and Badosa’s relationship
Betancourt and Badosa never officially confirmed their relationship, but several pictures posted by Badosa in late 2021 made it evident that they were together. Betancourt is a well-known name in the modeling industry, having worked with renowned brands like Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani. His impressive portfolio includes appearances in magazines like Vanity Fair and GQ España.
Despite his busy schedule, Betancourt made time for his tennis star ex-girlfriend, accompanying her to many of her tournaments and frequently sharing pictures of them together from various cities around the world.
However, their once love-struck relationship didn’t last for long. Betancourt’s absence from the 2023 Mutua Madrid Open, where Badosa was competing, fueled rumors of a potential breakup. And finally, Badosa’s confirmed relationship with Stefanos Tsitsipas sealed the fate of her relationship with Betancourt.
