Dating rumors between Shawn Mendes and Sabrina Carpenter continue to swirl after the pair were spotted together at Miley Cyrus’ album release party in Beverly Hills on Thursday night.

According to Just Jared, Mendes was seen waiting outside the event for Carpenter and the two left in the same car.

Mendes and Carpenter rumor mill

Rumors of their potential relationship were first sparked in February when both singers were photographed together at the Horses restaurant in Los Angeles by Deux Moi.

An anonymous tip told the celebrity gossip account that Mendes and Carpenter are indeed a couple.

“They were verrrry comfortable,” the tipster said.

Neither Mendes nor Carpenter has officially confirmed or denied the rumors.

Mendes’ dating history

In July 2022, it was suspected that Mendes, 24, was dating his chiropractor, Jocelyne Miranda, 51, as the pair were spotted at Mendes’ home in West Hollywood.

However, these rumors were likely false as Miranda shared photos to her Instagram story of herself and author, Stas Arsonov, cozying up in November 2022.

Mendes’ last confirmed relationship was with singer and songwriter, Camila Cabello. The two dated from 2019 to November 2021 and announced their split via Instagram.

They wrote: “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. [W]e started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.

“We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”

Canceling his world tour

Mendes was scheduled to embark on ‘Wonder: The World Tour’ last summer, but ended up canceling the whole tour altogether. The singer recently explained that the reason for this decision was to allow him more time to dedicate to his mental health.

Mendes told the Wall Street Journal:The process was very difficult. A lot of doing therapy, a lot of trying to understand how I was feeling and what was making me feel that way.

“And then doing the work to help myself and heal, and also leaning on people in my life a little bit.”
