Star actor left out of ‘Stranger Things’ press tour amid conduct controversies
The cast of ‘Stranger Things’ is starting to reunite to promote the fifth and final season of the series. However, there is one notable absence.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will arrive on Netflix on November 26. Just weeks before its premiere, the cast has already begun reuniting for the press tour. However, a source familiar with the matter told Vanity Fair that one of the show’s main actors has been “noticeably absent”: David Harbour, who plays the beloved former police chief, Jim Hopper.
“David Harbour has not been seen promoting the series created by the Duffer brothers. This could be because he is currently caught up in two controversies: one involving his ex-wife, Lily Allen, and another concerning his co-star, Millie Bobby Brown,” the outlet reported.
Why is David Harbour being cancelled?
It seems the past few weeks have been a nightmare for the 50-year-old actor, who is facing intense media backlash due to two separate scandals: one with his ex-wife, Lily Allen, and another with Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown.

The controversy between Lily Allen and David Harbour
Lily Allen and David Harbour surprised fans when they suddenly announced their marriage in Las Vegas in 2020. The wedding was an intimate affair attended only by the couple and Allen’s two daughters, followed by a casual celebration with burgers and milkshakes at In-N-Out.
However, their “forever” lasted only three years. The Smile singer reportedly discovered that her husband was leading a double life shortly after he suggested turning their marriage into an “open relationship.” Allen filed for divorce in September. The following month, she made her musical comeback with West End Girl, an album that lays bare the breakdown of their marriage in graphic detail. On it, she reportedly labels Harbour a “4chan stan” and a “sex addict.”
The controversy between Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour
Just a week after the release of West End Girl, the Daily Mail reported that Millie Bobby Brown had filed a complaint against Harbour before filming began on the final season of Stranger Things. The complaint allegedly cited bullying and workplace harassment on set. While the documents did not include any allegations of a sexual nature, Brown was reportedly accompanied by a lawyer throughout production.
