The 2026 Grammy Awards take place Sunday, February 1, celebrating the year’s biggest achievements in music. The Recording Academy will honor artists across categories like Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist, and genres ranging from pop and rock to R&B, rap, jazz, gospel, Latin music, and more.

This year, the Grammys are introducing new categories to “strengthen the annual awards process and expand representation in the music community,” including Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover.

Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations

For the 68th edition of the Grammys, Kendrick Lamar is the most nominated artist with nine nods. He is followed by Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Cirkut, each with seven nominations. Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas, and mixing engineer Serban Ghenea each earned six nominations.
