Straight out of ‘The Gilded Age’: Internet sleuths reveal where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might get married
The internet has worked hard to decipher where the celebrity couple may get married.

They’ve done it again. The Swifties have worked it out. They’ve joined forced with the Kelcies (shall we go with that? Does it work?) to work out where the couple of the moment are getting married.
Or have they?
Rumours are swirling that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could exchange vows in one of Rhode Island’s most opulent landmarks. According to online detectives, the couple may have set their sights on The Breakers, the grand Vanderbilt mansion in Newport, as their wedding venue.

Swift’s wedding “will turn into a problem”
That said, the speculation is merely that. Representatives from the Preservation Society of Newport County, which operates The Breakers as a museum, have flatly denied any booking for a Swift-Kelce wedding. “Taylor Swift is not getting married at The Breakers, or any other property the society runs,” a spokesperson told The Providence Journal. “It’s just not happening. We don’t hold weddings at The Breakers."
Despite that, the internet chatter keeps growing. Some reports claim Taylor offered another couple offered $500,000, plus enough to cover their ceremony and honeymoon, in exchange for moving out of their June 13, 2026 date at The Breakers. Sources suggest that particular day was meaningful to Swift, since “13” has long been her lucky number.
Reports also add that if not the Breakers, the couple may opt for Ocean House, a luxurious hotel located near Taylor’s famed Rhode Island retreat in Watch Hill.

Fuelling these rumours are comments from Westerly Town Manager Shawn Lacey, who said that “I’m hearing the same thing everybody else is hearing, there’s a possibility it could be in Watch Hill. Would we have to shut down the whole village of Watch Hill? If she has 300 people, it will turn into a problem – a problem we’ll deal with. There would probably be more security concerns in the guest list than in her."
