Taylor Swift gives shout-out to Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively’s kids at concert
The pop star is a longtime friend of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.
Taylor Swift had two special audience members in the crowd when she took the stage in Philadelphia this weekend. Close friend Blake Lively brought daughters Inez, 6, and James, 8 to watch Auntie Taylor Swift perform.
Lively was seated with her children at the VIP tent throughout the show. It was during her acoustic rendition of ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version)’ that Swift seemingly acknowledged her two adorable fans.
In videos recorded by fans, Swift mouthed “Hi James, Hi Nezzy,” while looking in the direction of the VIP tent before making her way along the stage. During other parts of the show, Swift looked over at the former ‘Gossip Girl’ star with her little family and waved excitedly.
Inspiring Swift’s music
She also looked in their direction while singing ‘August,’ ‘Betty’ and ‘Illicit Affairs,’ which feature characters named after the young girls. After cheering on their “Aunt Taylor,” the family was seen leaving the stadium with Inez in her mom Lively’s arms and James holding hands with the singer.
Lively also shares a daughter Betty, 3, and a fourth child with Ryan Reynolds, 46, which they welcomed earlier this year. The couple’s kids inspired lyrics from three tracks on Swift’s album ‘Folklore’.
Auntie Swift
The ‘Deadpool’ star, dad Ryan Reynolds, previously revealed on ‘The Jess Cagle Show’ that his kids thought Swift sang as a “hobby.”
“They just thought Taylor’s just like an aunt, like a friend of Mommy and Daddy that’s very, very close, almost family,” Reynolds revealed in the interview last November. “And then they went to a concert one day and were like, ‘Ohhhhh, this isn’t a hobby.’”
The couple are longtime pals of Swift and were recently spotted heading to dinner at an upscale Italian restaurant in New York City together. The trio dined at Casa Cipriani, a high-end members-only restaurant earlier in April.
