Taylor Swift may have closed the curtain on her blockbuster Eras Tour in late 2024, but her ability to dominate headlines – and Spotify streams – is as relentless as ever. Just when her most devoted fans thought they might get a breather, Swift popped back up with a nostalgic nod to her roots and a fresh milestone that confirms she’s still rewriting the record books.

How can I get a Taylor Swift cardigan?

This week, Swift dropped a surprise for fans who’ve been there since the early days: a limited re-release of the Fearless (Taylor’s Version) cardigan. Originally launched in 2021 alongside her first re-recorded album, the cozy golden-brown knit became something of a cult item among her fanbase. Now, to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the re-record, it’s back - for 72 hours only, or until it sells out, whichever comes first. You already know which one it’ll be.

Described as a “golden brown button down chunky knit” with black stripe and star designs, it includes a woven label reading “Taylor Swift Fearless Taylor’s Version” stitched on the left hip. Four unisex sizes are available, and yes, male models were front and center in the promotional rollout – because Swifties come in all forms.

Making Swift work of record sales and streams

Nostalgia wasn’t the only thing Taylor delivered. Her epic All Too Well (10 Minute Version) just crossed one billion streams on Spotify, making it the longest song ever to reach the milestone.

Meanwhile, another stat quietly broke the internet. The Official Charts Company confirmed that Midnights, her 2022 synth-pop slow-burner, is now the best-selling new vinyl release in the UK of the last decade, with nearly 130,000 copies sold since its launch. It even spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the UK’s Vinyl Albums Chart, while also giving Swift her then-biggest opening sales week ever at 204,000 units – before she topped that too, naturally.

And she didn’t stop there. The Tortured Poets Department and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) took the second and fourth spots on that same list, meaning three of the top four vinyl albums of the last ten years belong to her. In total, Swift landed eight albums on the vinyl top 40, with six in the top 25.
