Taylor Swift and Harry Styles look to be on good terms based on their interactions at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

It wasn’t the first time the two have been spotted chatting it up at the awards show. Back in 2021, Swift was very supportive of Styles after the English singer won his first Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for his hit ‘Watermelon Sugar’.

It was the first time the couple had been seen speaking in public since their split in 2013, and it looks as though they remain on good terms based on their interaction at Sunday’s Grammy Awards.

Swift backs Styles’ Album of the Year victory

Styles surprised many by winning Album of the Year, beating out the likes of Beyoncé, Adele, and Kendrick Lamar.

Some fans were left shocked by the victory, with one fan in attendance shouting Beyoncé's name as Styles gave his acceptance speech.

Nevertheless, Swift never wavered in her support of Styles, standing on her feet for his entire speech and looking down at the ground when she heard the heckling.

Swift is no stranger to awkward awards moment, as she was infamously interrupted by Kanye West at the 2009 VMAs.

Swift danced during Styles’ performance

Swift brought her dancing shoes with her to Sunday’s show as she couldn’t help but get on her feet when Bad Bunny brought the energy as the night’s opening performer.

She continued when Styles got on stage to perform ‘As It Was’ from his album Harry’s House in a sparkly silver suit.

Swift showed her support for her ex, dancing during his performance. She also gave Styles a standing ovation when he received his first Grammy of the night for Best Pop Vocal Album.

During Steve Lacy’s performance, Swift even made her way over to Styles’ table and gave him a hug before the two had a brief chat.

Swift and Styles’ brief relationship

The two reportedly dated for less than a year back in 2012, but the split reportedly inspired Swift to write ‘Out of the Woods’ and ‘Two Ghosts’, among others, about Styles.

During an appearance on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ back in 2020, Styles said he had nothing but praise for Swift’s songwriting.

“I think about what it means to me to write a song about somebody else and for somebody else to do that, it’s like flattering, even if the song isn’t that flattering, you still spent time on it and ultimately, using Taylor as an example, she’s a great songwriter,” he said.

“So at least they’re good songs.”
