The new conspiracy theory that ‘Swifties’ are obsessed with: Did Taylor Swift write a song for Lady Gaga’s new album?
Lady Gaga has just released a new album, but did she have help from Taylor Swift?

Whether she’s off galavanting around the world with a microphone in her hand, or hidden away in a media-proof bunker, cuddled up in Mr Kelce’s bicep on the Sicilian seafront, Taylor Swift continues to wiggle her way into the headlines.
This time, it comes from her fans. The ‘Swifties’ are an active bunch on social media, and come out in their numbers when their queen takes to the stage. Now, they’ve got the world’s servers heating up as they imprint their latest conspiracy furiously into their keyboards: has Swift written a song on Lady Gaga’s new album?
Does Taylor Swift feature on Lady Gaga’s new album?
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known to you and I as Lady Gaga, released her newest album last Friday. Entitled Mayhem, it was recorded at Rick Rubin‘s Shangri-La studio in Malibu, California and has 15 songs, with features from Bruno Mars and Gesaffelstein.
However, that’s not all. The Swifties have fine-tuned bat ears and suspect that the Bad Blood songstress is in fact present on one song, How Bad Do You Want Me, as a ‘secret feature’.
The conspiracy goes even further. Lady Gaga fans have joined in on the fun and some believe that the lyrics on said track were in fact written by Taylor.
They claim that the lyrics “You like my hair and my ripped-up jeans—you like the bad girl I got in me. She’s on your mind, like, all the time, but I got a tattoo for us last week” could only have come from the mind of Swift.
It wouldn’t be the first time the ‘Bad Blood’ singer went uncredited on a track. The most famous example was her then-secret involvement in Calvin Harris' 2016 track “This Is What You Came For,” which she wrote under the name Nils Sjöberg.

Unfortunately, Swifties, it looks like it will remain a conspiracy, as various media outlets in the US have had negative responses from insiders when asked about a potential involvement in the song. But then again, who knows when it comes to Taylor?
