Update:

Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards are coming up next month and power couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are both up for awards again this year. The event celebrates fans’ favorites across music, film, TV, sports, and more. This year, the show is hosted by Tyla and will air live on Saturday, June 21 at 8 p.m. ET from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

Which categories are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce nominated for at the Kids’ Choice Awards?

Starting today, May 15, fans can cast their votes across 35 different categories on the official Kids’ Choice Awards website.

Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, is nominated for two awards: Favorite Male Sports Star and Favorite Podcast for his New Heights Podcast he hosts with brother and former Eagles center Jason Kelce. Also nominated in the Favorite Male Sports Star category are his teammate Patrtick Mahomes as well as Jalen Hurts, Jayson Tatum, LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Shohei Ohtani, and Stephen Curry.

As for pop star Taylor Swift, she’s up for two different awards. She’ll be competing for Favorite Female Artist, alongside Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and SZA. She’s also up for Favorite Song for her hit “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”. Also nominated for the Favorite Song award are Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra,” The Weeknd’s “Cry For Me,” Kendrick Lamar’s “squabble up,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Taste”, and Billie Eilish’s “Wildflower.”

Swift and Kelce, both 35, were nominated for awards at last year’s event as well, winning four between the two of them. Swift won Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Global Music Star, and Favorite Ticket of the Year for her Eras Tour while Kelce won Favorite Male Sports Star. Neither attended the event last year, as Swift was performing on her Eras Tour while Kelce was participating in the 2024 American Century Championship.

The couple has been largely staying out of the spotlight since both Swift’s tour and Kelce’s football season came to an end, so it would be a treat to see them attend the awards show together next month. The event will air across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, MTV2 and CMT.
