This is how pop star Taylor Swift and legendary Chiefs TE Travis Kelce spend time together away from the spotlight.

Two high-profile A-listers with very intensive work schedules - it’s a wonder Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce get any chance to spend quality time together. And especially over the past year during which the Cruel Summer singer spent globetrotting, taking her record-breaking Eras Tour around the world while Travis helped guide the Chiefs to the Super Bowl only to miss out on a three-peat.

Whirlwind year with world tour and Super Bowl LIX

Taylor was pretty much occupied for most of 2024, restarting her Eras tour in Tokyo in early February and part from a six-week break, spending most of the rest of the year on the road, playing 88 shows in Asia, Europe before returning to the US in the fall to wrap up the tour.

When she wasn’t performing, she tried to get to as many Chiefs’ games as possible. In 2024, Taylor made it to 14 games - most of them at Arrowhead Stadium, but she also attended both last year’s and this year’s Super Bowls (LVIII in Las Vegas and LIX in New Orleans) and away games in Baltimore and New York.

Given their busy schedules, Taylor and Travis are making the most of their free time to jet off on a series of romantic getaways, far away from the media and public.

Obviously the wanted to be completely on their own with as much privacy as possible so it is not known which locations they have been to. An insider, told People that the pair are now back in the United States after holidaying abroad: “Taylor and Travis had a really nice time reconnecting after a very busy year”.

The same source added, “A lot of their time is spent at home just relaxing. Despite their fame, they’re really just like any other couple. They like to cuddle on the couch and watch movies, play board games, spend time with family, cook dinner together and just hang out. This is such a nice escape for them to finally be able to stay out of the limelight for a bit before they eventually have to get out in the public eye again due to their careers. This time away from the spotlight has been so refreshing for Taylor and Travis. They really cherish this time while they can because they know it can’t last forever.”

They’ve been enjoying the precious time in each other’s company before it’s time to get back to work. Taylor will start work on her 12th studio album - the followup to last year’s The Tortured Poets Department. Travis meanwhile, will be heading to training camp later this summer, with the Chiefs due back on or around 16 July.
