Taylor Swift stayed true to her word Sunday evening and delivered to fans who were eagerly anticipating the promised surprise songs, to be different each night of the three-show run in Arlington, Texas.

The epic ‘Eras Tour’, Swift’s first in over four years, wrapped up its third show in Arlington, after which the 33-year-old popstar will take a week off to recuperate.

What surprise songs did Taylor Swift perform Sunday night in Arlington?

The official fan account for Swift’s tour, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour @TSTheErasTour alerted fans at home in real-time what songs Swift would surprise fans with that evening.

“Taylor is going to play a different acoustic surprise song every night!” the account posted. “Tonight is ‘Jump Then Fall’!”

Later in the show, Swift performed her second acoustic tune, this time on the piano.

The Lucky One tonight!” the fan account posted.

‘The Lucky One’ is the second secret song and Taylor is playing it on the piano!” they wrote in another post.

On Saturday, Swift performed ‘Death by a Thousand Cuts’.

Later in the evening, Swift sang her song ‘Clean’, where she took up the piano.

Why the surprise songs?

Taylor Swift doesn’t want her fans to become too complacent, so to keep everyone guessing, the singing superstar announced she would deliver surprises throughout the course of the tour.

In Arlington, Texas, Swift delighted fans by declaring they can expect two surprise acoustic songs each night of the three-show string of performances, and even unexpectedly changed the official setlist for Friday’s show in Arlington.

“You think you can come prepared?” Swift hollered to an ecstatic crowd Friday night in Arlington, “You think you can just scroll and know the setlist?”
