Update:

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly is getting her own channel on SiriusXM, the satellite-radio broadcaster announced this week.

In a statement, SiriusXM said Kelly has signed a “new multi-year deal” with the company, which she joined in 2021. The agreement includes the creation of The Megyn Kelly Channel, which will debut on November 4.

“The new channel will continue to air The Megyn Kelly Show, heard first and only on SiriusXM before becoming available in podcast form, and will also feature brand-new programming, including the debut of an exclusive daily after show program,” the broadcaster said.

“Additional series, shows, and specials will be announced in the coming weeks.”

From TV to radio and podcasting

Kelly, 54, rose to prominence as a host on the TV network Fox News, spending 13 years with the channel before joining NBC News in mid-2017.

The Illinois native’s stint with NBC was short, however: in early 2019, she parted ways with the network, after she had courted controversy by defending the use of blackface in Halloween costumes.

Following her NBC exit, Kelly created the news and politics podcast The Megyn Kelly Show in 2020. In September the following year, the program began airing as a radio show on the SiriusXM Triumph channel.

The Megyn Kelly Show also remains available as a podcast, which can be accessed after the radio broadcast.

“No-BS news”

Reacting to her new SiriusXM deal on Thursday, Kelly said: “Linear television news is dead. People can’t stand those stilted, censored conversations anymore, which is exactly why this medium is thriving.

“I’m thrilled to deliver our bold brand of no-BS news live on SiriusXM and to be expanding my relationship with such a stellar, blue-chip brand and great partner. Soon our listeners will have the Megyn Kelly Channel to enjoy and trust for the conversations and content they love.”

Where to find the Megyn Kelly Channel

From November 4, listeners will be able to tune in to the Megyn Kelly Channel on SiriusXM channel 111, the broadcaster says. SiriusXM Triumph will move to channel 123.
